Bangkok Zone Selector
Sukhumvit, Khao San, Silom, Riverside, Ari — they're not "just different neighborhoods." Each is a different experience. Match the zone to what you actually want to do.

What this solves
Most generic guides say "stay in Sukhumvit" without considering why you're in Bangkok. A temple-focused traveler in Sukhumvit adds 45 min commute per day; a nightlife-focused traveler in Riverside gets bored.
How to read
The output scores each zone against your answers. Top score = your zone. Top 3 are realistic alternatives.
Limitations
- Each zone has good and bad sub-areas. Sukhumvit Soi 11 ≠ Sukhumvit Soi 71.
- Riverside is great but isolated from BTS; budget extra taxi.
- Don't stay in Khao San if you want quiet nights — backpacker parties run until 4 am.
FAQ
Is Khao San really only for backpackers?
No — it's also where you stay for cheap Grand Palace access. Families often prefer Riverside or Ari instead.
Is Sukhumara near the airport line?
No. ARL ends at Phaya Thai; you transfer to BTS to reach Sukhumvit. Allow 60–75 min from BKK to Nana/Asok.
